Welcome to 2014! I hope
everyoneenjoyeda joyfulholiday
season.Wearegettingback to the
routineandworking tosurvive the
deep freeze ofwinter!
Thenewyearbringsseveralnew
changes, challenges and faces
to the Le Roy Central School
District. From the changes to
Obama care, our school lunch
and breakfast requirements,
to the implementation of the
common core learning standards,
all district employees are doing
thingsdifferently thaneverbefore.
I want to publicly commend this
outstanding group of individuals
for all their hardwork in helping
tomake theLeRoyCentralSchool
District the best by anymeasure.
In January we are welcoming
Mr. Robert Blake as our new
Director of Curriculum and
Instruction. We look forward to
his energy and expertise as we
continue to ensure that all our
students are college and career
ready. We will say farewell to
Margaret Puzio, who has been
serving as Interim Director of
Curriculum and Instruction for
the first semester of the school
year. Margaret has done an
outstanding job helping us to
refineourpractices. Wewillmiss
her support and guidance. We
will alsobesayingasadgoodbye
to Gail Freeman, Jr./Sr. High
School office secretary. Gail has
beenapositive force in theoffice
for twenty three years! We will
trulymissher smiling face. Best
Wishes toGail and her husband,
Lynn, as they begin the next
exciting chapter of their lives.
Theonlyconstant in theworld is
change,and readyornot italways
happens. The newyear is a great
time to embrace these changes
andmove ahead. I look forward
