Police Report
03/31/2014: A complaint of shoplifting at a local business on West
Main Street led to the arrest of two cousins in the Village of LeRoy
on March 27, 2014.
The initial call for a shoplifting first led to the arrest of 22 year old
JeffreyW. Kuyal of 5839 Chili Ave lot J147, Churchville NY. Jeffrey
was charged with one count of Petit Larceny for allegedly stealing
from the store. As he was being led out of the store by the Police,
Jeffrey’s 25 year old cousin Jazmin L. Kuyal of 66 Lake Street, LeRoy
approached him and allegedly struck Jeffrey in front of the Police.
Jazmin was then placed under arrest for Harassment and during the
arrest, allegedly became combative with the police creating a struggle
and refused to get into the patrol vehicle. It was then determined that
Jazmin had an outstanding warrant out of Orleans County.
Jeffrey was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the LeRoy Town
Court at a later date. Jazmin was charged with one count of Harass-
ment in the Second Degree a violation, one count of ResistingArrest,
a class A-Misdemeanor and one count of Obstructing Governmental
Administration,AclassA-Misdemeanor. Jazmin was arraigned before
the Hon. Daryl Sehm of the LeRoy Town Court and committed to
the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Sunshine Nursery School’s scientists were at it again! The Pre-K
class recently completed a unit on earthworms. They loved hear-
ing interesting worm facts, watching howworms move and learn-
ing firsthand, what they feel like. The young scientists enjoyed
setting up a worm habitat and singing about Hermie the worm.
