LeRoy’s 9/10 year old all
stars looked impressive in their
opening game against Oakfield.
Strongpitchingandsoliddefense
made it difficult for Oakfield
to get anything going. Colin
McCulley was in command on
the mound. He struck out four
batterswhilegivinguponewalk.
McCulley only surrendered two
hits in the shut out. When the
Oakfieldbatterswereable toput
the ball in play LeRoy’s stout
defense, ledbyKennySaunders
atshortstop,made theplayswith-
out committing an error.
The LeRoy batters came
through at the plate to provide
plenty of run support. Colin
McCulley was 2 for 2 with a
pair of singles and he scored 3
runs. Zach Vanderhoof went 2
for 3with a single and a double
whichproduced4RBI’s.Brady
Fix had a hard hit single and
scored2 runs.AdamRisewick ,
ColeRauscher,LukeCaccamise
andJoeyBrennanallhadsingles
and scored runs. Johnny Pane-
pento andMaverick McKenzie
also collected hits for LeRoy.

stars remained hot at the plate.
They hammered out 14 hits to
propel them to their second vic-
tory.KennySaundersset the tone
leading off the game for LeRoy
with a ball laced down the right
field line. He would go 3 for 4
andscore3 runs.AdamRisewick
also had 3 hits with one being a
double into the right center gap.
Hewould go on to score 2 runs.
Brady Fix and ZachVanderhoof
each singled twice and scored
