1) An investigation into an alleged as-
sault which occurred in January of 2013
resulted in the arrest of a LeRoy native
living in the City of Rochester. 29 year
oldKennethG.Smith IIIof lka911Lake
AvenueRochesterNYwasarrestedby the
LeRoy PoliceDepartment on 7/23/2014
and charged with one count each of the
Felonies of Criminal Possession of a
Weapon in the Third Degree, a Class-D
Felony andAssault in theFirstDegree, aClass-BFelony.
It is alleged that on or about 01/10/2013, smithwas involved in
analtercation inanapartment onMainStreet in theVillageofLeRoy
whenSmithpossessed a dangerous instrument in the formof a glass
itemwith intent to use against another (while having a prior crimi-
nal conviction). Smith then allegedly used said glass item to strike
the victim numerous times about the face causing permanent facial
disfigurement/scarring.
Smithwasarraignedbefore theHon.D.Sehmof theLeRoyTown
Court and Released Under the Supervision of the Genesee Justice
Program.
2) 37 year oldMichael J. Stack Jr. of
7450Randall Road, LeRoywas arrested
by the LeRoy Police Department on
7/23/2014 and charged with two counts
of the Felony of Criminal Sexual Act
in the First Degree, a Class-B Felony. It
is alleged that on 07/23/2014, While in
an apartment on East Main Street in the
Village of LeRoy, Stack engaged inOral
SexualContactwith theVictimwhile the
Victimwas incapable of consent by the reason of being physically
helpless and by forcible compulsion. The charges stem from an
allegation by theVictim alleging that theVictimwas sleeping and
awoke to stackkneelingover theVictimhavingoral sexual contact
with theVictim.
Stackwas arraigned before theHon. D. Sehm and committed to
theGeneseeCounty Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

ForStealingPublicFunds
NewYorkStateComptrollerThomasP.DiNapoli todayannounced
thearrestofDennisSnow, the treasurerof theLeRoyFireDepartment
in Genesee County. Snowwas charged with two counts of grand
larceny in the third degree (classD felony), 42 counts of forgery in
thefirstdegree (classC felony)and twocountsof falsifyingbusiness
records in thefirstdegree (classE felony) forallegedlystealingnearly
$50,000 in public funds.
