Dear CommunityMembers,
The 2014-15 school year is proving to be exciting. Over the past fewweeks, I have been sharing components of our proposed capital
improvement project, named the “R.I.T.E. Project” through
Pennysaver
articles, Twitter blasts, presentations, and newsletters. R.I.T.E.
stands for Renovation, Innovation, Tradition in Education andwas selected as our project name because it aptly captures the essence of
what this project represents. TheLeRoyCentral SchoolDistrict has always had aproudhistoryof providinghighquality educational and
extra-curricularprograms, sustaining thebeautyof itsassets, andmaintainingfiscal responsibility to thecommunity. This successhasbeen
the result of thoughtful and careful planning for the futurewhilemaintaining a commitment to the traditions of the past.
It is our goal to inform and educate the community on the facilities improvements that will allow us to continue on the journey of our
districtmission of
“providing an exceptional, high quality educational environment where all learners are empowered to succeed.”
TheDistrict Facilities Committee, alongwith teams of stakeholders, haveworked for the past four years to develop a project that meets
the pressing needs of the district. We are committed to continuing our efforts at transparency to allow all communitymembers tomake
an informeddecision aswe approach the
