Once again, thank you for the
great support for the 2015-16
school budget. I can’t believe
that there are only a fewweeks
leftofschool.Asadistrict,weare
already in the process of devel-
oping our schedules, calendars,
and programs for the fall. One
important change that wewould
like to share with you is the
school day times for both the el-
ementary and secondary schools
nextyear. Theschoolday for the
elementary school will run from
8:45 - 3:15
,while the secondary
school hours will be from
7:45
-2:15
. This change allows for a
uniform school day of six and
halfhours for all students,which
is quite typical for most schools
in the region. While the time
changesmayseemslight, thead-
ditionalminuteswill allow us to
provide theequivalentofclose to
7additionaldaysof instructional
time over the course of the year.
Please plan ahead!!
These
changes will impact busing
routes and times! It is the Le
Roy Central Transportation De-
partment’s goal to have these
routes out to the public by the
lastweekofAugust,
butweneed
your help
. Pleasemake sure that
information foryourchild’s (chil-
dren’s) transportation needs is
current and up to date. Thismay
require you to complete a new
transportation form and return it
to theTransportationDepartment
as soon as possible. In order to
meet thedeadlineofmailingbus
routes to residents by the last
week in August, new forms and
changes will be accepted by the
Le Roy Transportation Depart-
ment through
Monday,August3,
2015
. After this date, the routes
willbebuilt from the information
that is currently on file.
Without
this form, we cannot guarantee
thatwecanscheduleyour trans-
portationplansby thefirstdayof
schoolonWednesday,September
2, 2015

providingsafeandefficient trans-
portationforourstudents,
but this
cannothappenwithoutaccurate
and timely information
. It takes
many hours to design the routes
and to compete the mailing. It
is absolutely
essential
we have
this information in order to en-
sure that our routes are correctly
designedand that all studentsare
assigned in the system.We urge
you to takeaminuteandcomplete
this formassoonaspossible. We
also ask that you encourageyour
friendsandneighbors tocomplete
their forms aswell.
