On10/26/2015,20yearoldSaraA.Howardof8486WestBergen
Rd, lot 15, LeRoywas arrested on two outstandingwarrants by the
LeRoyPoliceDepartment. ThefirstwasanArrestWarrantoutof the
Townof LeRoyCourt alleging that onor about 9/16/2015, Howard
stolemoney and an I-phone from an acquaintance in theVillage of
LeRoy. While processing Howard for this A-Misdemeanor Petit
Larcenyarrest, itwas learnedHowardwaswantedout of theCityof
Rochester for an outstandingBenchWarrant for Larceny. Howard
was issued anAppearance Ticket for the LeRoy charge and turned
over toRochester PoliceDepartment for theBenchWarrant.
On10/27/2015, 20year oldAmyM.Kaplunof 31Gilbert Street,
LeRoywas arrested by the LeRoy PoliceDepartment and charged
withonecount of theA-MisdemeanorofPetitLarceny. It isalleged
that betweenOctober20and22, 2015,Kaplun,whileworkingasan
employeeofavillagebusinessstolecash from thebusiness. Kaplun
was issueandAppearanceTicket toappear in theLeRoyTownCourt
at a future date.
On October 31, 2015, two persons
werearrestedby theLeRoyPoliceDe-
partment and charged with two count
eachof theC-FelonyofBurglary in the
SecondDegree and one count each of
theMisdemeanorsofPetitLarcenyand
AttemptedPetit Larceny. The Investi-
gation began on 10/31/2015 at about
1:20 p.m. when a neighbor onMyrtle
Streetnoticedsuspiciouspersons inside
and then leaving a nearby residence.
The LeRoy Patrol was in the area at the time and located the first
suspect, 33 year old Jeffrey D. Bald of 30 Craigie Street, LeRoy
walking nearby carrying a duffle bag of property. It was alleged
that aday timeburglaryhad just beencommittedandBaldwas taken
into custody. Further investigation alleged that a 2nd suspect was
involved, 43 year oldTedE. Kingsley of 61Myrtle Street, building
A apartment 7, LeRoy. Kingsleywas
alsoarrested. During this investigation,
it was alleged that these two persons
were responsible for a burglary to the
same residence a few days earlier and
were subsequently charged with that
burglary. Bothwere arraigned before
theHon. D. Sehm of the LeRoyTown
Court and committed to the Genesee
County Jail, Kingsley on $15,000 and
Bald on $25,000 cash bail.
