David Grayson invited Lori
Aratari and Dan Ireland from
United Memorial Medical Cen-
ter to our meeting today to give
an update on the state of United
Memorial Medical Center. The
mission of United Memorial
Medical Center is to enhance
lives and preserve health by en-
ablingaccess toacomprehensive,
fully integrated network of the
highest quality andmost afford-
ablecaredeliveredwithkindness,
integrity and respect. There are
fivehospitals in theRochesterRe-
gionalHealthSystem:Rochester
General, Unity, UMMC, Clifton
Springs, and Newark Wayne.
In total they have over 16,000
teammembers, and over 2,000
providers. In 2015 at UMMC:
635 babieswere delivered, 5,187
were admitted for inpatient care,
and therewere 33,092Emergen-
cy Department & Urgent care
visits. In total, UMMC serviced
55,275 individuals in our local
community. Dan Ireland also
gave anupdateon the innovative
advancementsat theLipsonCan-
cer Institute, UMMC Surgical
Center, and the New Intensive
Care Program. In 2015, UMMC
addedGeneseeOrthopedics and
Sports Medicine and Wyoming
OB/GYN in Warsaw. Dan also
educated the group on adding
Palliative Care beds and an up-
dated Diagnostics Center to the
hospital. Congratulations and
thankyougoes toRochesterRe-
gionalHealthonall theefforts to
provide quality care to our local
community.
