PATRICK'S CORNED BEEF DINNERS AND REUBENS Friday, March 15th Saturday, March16th Sunday, March 17th FISH FRY'S SERVED EVERY FRIDAY The LeRoy Moose Police Report An early morning motor vehicle accident in the Village of Le Roy resulted in the death of a Canadian man and serious injuries to two other occupants in the vehicle. At approximately 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning a vehicle operated by a 21-year-old man from St. Catherine’s, Ontario was travelling northbound on Route 19 in the Village when he failed to negotiate a curve near the intersection of Route 19 and Wolcott Street striking a concrete island then going airborne and hitting a residence located at 79 Clay Street (Rt. 19). It took firefighters from the Le Roy Fire Department nearly 45-minutes to extricate the three victims from the vehicle. A passenger in the front seat Jamel Love age 22 of Thorold, Ontario was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene byGenesee County Coroner Thomas Douglass and a backseat passenger, age 22 also of Thorold, Ontario was transported by Le Roy Ambulance to Strong and the driver was transported via Mercy Flight helicopter to Strong. As of this writing the two were listed in critical condition and their names are not being released pending family notification. The Le Roy Police Department is being assisted in the crash investigation by the New York State Police Crash Management Team and were assisted on scene by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
