The Town & Country Garden Club of LeRoy will be holding it’s annual Plant Auction at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29th at the LeRoy First Presbyterian Church. Baskets, perennials, bulbs, houseplants and other garden items will be sold. The money raised will be used for civic beautification. “Community Together in Prayer” at the Hope Center of LeRoy (42 Main Street) from 9am-10am. We meet once a month (first Wednesday) for one hour to pray for our children, schools and community. We are a non denominational Christian group of people coming together to pray for our families, school district, community and country. No concern is tooo big or smal to pray for. Community for Understanding: St. Mark’s Episcopal Church’s monthly discussion series called “Community for Understanding” will meet at the church, 1 East Main St., LeRoy on Thursday, June 13 at 7:00 pm to discuss and vote on topics for the coming year. Woodard 61, from El Paso,Tx, formally from Le Roy has passed away. He was a member of theAmerican Legion, the Five Point Rod and Gun Club. And a former member of the Fire Department and the LeRoy Masonic Lodge. Burial will be in El Paso on May 15th at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
