Bruno has been a resident of LeRoy since his marriage to is wife Elizabeth (Lee) Costa, 46 years ago. They have two daughters, Christina (Tim) Carvel and Stacy (Jason) Wentworth, and have 6 grandchildren, Brayden, Nolan, Matthew, Addison, Tyler and Dominic. Bruno is graduate of Notre Dame High School and has a A.A.S degree from Genesee Community College. Bruno has been active with many school programs, including PTA and the LeRoy Sports Boosters. He was one the of the first coaches for the LeRoy Youth Soccer and also coached LeRoy Youth Football and LeRoy Little League. He has always been a strong supporter of LeRoy Athletics. Supporting his daughters during their involvement, and still continues to cheer on the local teams. Bruno has been a member and served on the board of the LeRoy Jaycee’s, Knights of Columbus Edward Powers Council 2936, The LeRoy Historical Society (currently oversees all the Bldg maintenance), and LCCP. He was also on the Oatka Festival Committee for several years. He is as an active member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish. Bruno also serves his community by being elected as a LeRoy Town Councilmen and at one time was the Deputy Supervisor. He also serves as a member of the Genesee County Parks and Water Commission. To honor Bruno, the 51th annual LeRoyan of the Year Award Dinner will be held on October 26, 2019 at the American Legion, 53 West Main St., LeRoy.
