Jim Evinger will give us the story of the Anti-Slavery Movement here in the 1830’s to 50’s: it is an inspiring story of the early pioneers in civil rights, and the dangers they faced, and includes visits here by Frederick Douglass. Jim will also tell us about the detective-work he did to uncover these long-forgotten facts via his Slide Presentation. The presentation is Free and open to the public. Everyone is also welcome to stay after the Presentation/Question & Answer Period for a Spaghetti Dinner. The Dinner will be held in Olmsted Hall immediately following: Donation: $6/person. Please make a reservation with the Church Office at 768-6700, if you plan to stay for Dinner. Everybody’s welcome!
