The Junior Knights @ 5-0 against Dansville @ 4-1 are both playing for the number 1 seed in their divisions. LeRoy sits atop the North with a 1 game lead over arch rival GVB. Dansville is in 2nd place in the South division. The Junior Mustangs needs to win out, and hope perennial, 2x reigning, defending, Bath-Haverling Rams gets up-ended. The Mustangs start out on offense and test the edge against all CYFL first team selection Brennan “Cali-Kid” Weber. The “Cali-Kid” is chilling early and first year stand out Mathew McCully acts chill until game time. McCully “Baby Gronk” switches to his Richard Sherman version for a -1 tackle. Nutter Stiles seems to always be in the mix thwarts Dansville’s stud with a shoe lace tackle for -6. Andreas Condidorio then does his job forcing the Mustangs into 4th & 15. Mustangs don’t punt ever and on 4th down get thumped by Nate Pangrazio, “Cali-Kid” and McCully. LeRoy in great field position rolls with the Kettle Bell King “Touchdown” Tommy Clifford. Clifford. The Cheerleaders embrace #4 with chants of “Touchdown Tommy, clap-clap, clap, clap, clap! Clifford peaks in his rear view mirror and darts to the 3 yard line. Ryder Stiles follows his brother’s, David Wojo, Jake Kochmanski and Carter Page (CP) into the end-zone. TOUCHDOWN! LR 6-0. Dansville back on offense doesn’t flinch. Refusing to be bullied by the bully killers keeps moving the chains for the Junior Mustangs. Micheal Warner & Andreas Condidorio play steady behind Roland Goodenough. Jaxson “Cookie Monster” Cook uses his radio voice to lead in LeRoy. The Junior Knights take over near mid-field and take charge with Jude Christ. Christ is looking to dominate and not make any friends in the surrounding areas. Who needs more friends when you have Rootbeer, Wojo, Crissy, Offen, CP, Nutter, Porcelli, Road-Dog & Nasty Hubbard? Party is full, but the Junior Mustangs strip the football and get the turnover. Christ & company are not happy. RED TWO Drew then sends out the big guns led by Ryan O’Geen and “Cosmic Brownie” Drew Beachel. O’Geen & company can’t go “Cozzy-B” but try as the half ends 6-0. The Junior Knights get the ball to start the 3rd quarter and go to their wrestlers. Ryder Stiles to Austyn Silvernail behind David Wojo. Anthony Warner and Jude Christ love it as Silvernail takes his 4th consecutive carry in for a TOUCHDOWN! LR 12-0. Roland Goodenough is auditioning for CYFL 2020 player to watch cover boy gets Dansville on 4th down. The Junior Knights play 27 man football on possession #5 as everyone gets involved. Jacob Keller fears nobody and destroys a path for “TD Tommy”. “Cowboy” Nick Lentine loves his cousins, fills in for CP & “Cali-Kid” ruins the defender for Austyn Silvernail to hit his finishing move, the shake-rattle & roll. TOUCHDOWN! LR 18-0. The Junior Mustangs are stinging get caught up in a web of misery led by Condidorio, Pangrazio and a much more efficient “Cali-Kid”. On 4th & forever the Mustangs pass and it’s read perfectly by Matthew McCulley. Surely the Mustangs won’t try that play again. The Junior Knights on offense lean on CP & Road Dog in crunch time. CP roars, “finish this” & “Touchdown” Tommy isn’t about to argue with those two beastly brothers zips for 24 yards. TOUCHDOWN! LR 24-0. The Mustangs playing a great game refuse to lose. No quit Sunday and they go back to work. On 3rd & 10 they test the pass defense of LeRoy & McCully. Andreas Condidorio, Nate Pangrazio & Nutty pressure the passer and Matthew McCully steps in front for the interception. Weber blows up the defender with a “Cali-quake” as McCully gets a convoy from Roland, Andreas, Nutter and friends for a 69 yard defensive TOUCHDOWN! LR 30-0. A Goodnight ending,you may kiss the bride, and the big boned lady sings! The Junior Knights roll to 6-0 in a tough battle against a gamey Dansville squad.
