Sanders of 1454 Dewey Ave apt 3, Rochester was arrested by the LeRoy Police Department on 12/18/2019 after an investigation into stolen tools. The original complaint was received on 11/25/2019 from multiple tradesmen at a construction site in the Village of LeRoy who stated someone stole their tools during working hours. After an investigation it was alleged that Sanders, while working as a laborer on the site allegedly stole the tools while the others went on break. Sanders who is on Parole was working at the construction site as a temporary employee. Sanders was located in Rochester by the LeRoy Police Department and arrested and charged with one count of the E-Felony of Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree. Due to the new state bail laws, Sanders was issued an Appearance ticket and released. The LeRoy Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the NYS Division of Parole.
