HelpOn-the-Go President Mary Young opened the December 18th meeting in the usual manner with the Pledge, Prayer and Four Way Test. Our guests included several children and grandchildren of Rotarians patiently awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus. Guests today included John McClurg, Heather McGinnis and Joan Ellison. Past President Jim Ellison was presented a well earned Paul Harris Fellowship Award. David Grayson announced the slate of Officers and Board Members for the 2020-2021 Rotary year. Mike Tucci is organizing the Big Game TV Raffle. Tickets are available from most Rotarians with the drawing on February 1st. Last week's Cookie Auction was very successful with proceeds going toward Community Swimming Pool memberships and Rotary Youth Services. Jim Ellison announced that a Craft Night will be held at the Greens on December 19th. The Club Christmas Party will be held at President Mary's home on 12/20. Betsy Halvorsen announced plans for a Game Night and a Thirsty Thursday sometime in January. Betsy also informed us that Calendars commemorating the 90th Birthday of the Woodward Memorial Library are available at the Library for a $10 donation. Jason Karcher let us know that Rotarians will now be able to make lunch and fine payments with a credit card. The Area 14 Christmas Party will be held on January 10th. Called on for missed meetings were: Tracy Ford, Tony Gugino, Larry Boylan and Jeff Halladay. Fines included: David Grayson for issues with Danette's Christmas gift, Tracy Ford for her absence from our last Game Night, Larry Boylan's celebration of his 50th wedding anniversary, Marcia McKenzie paid for her pickleball participation and Jeff Halladay for his deer hunting success.
