Please come out and vote. VOTE LeRoy Wrestling’s Andrew Englerth has placed 3rd in the 160# weight class at the New York State Wrestling Championships held February 28 and 29. Andrew won his first match by pinning Gavin Kulp from Olean in Section 6. Advancing to the quarterfinals, he won a 9-8 decision over Will Carano from Putnam Valley in Section 1. Andrew advanced to the semifinals where he lost 10-2 to Jacob Null from Dolgeville in Section 2, the eventual 160# NYS Champion. He then moved into the consolation bracket semifinals where he again met Gavin Kulp from Olean and won by major decision, 11-3. Andrew then advanced to the consolation finals where he defeated Ethan Stotler from Waverly in Section 4 by technical fall and earned the 3rd place position on the podium at the New York State Wrestling Championships. Andrew Englerth also re- wrote a few of LeRoy Wrestling’s Records. He holds the record for the most consecutive wins in a season at 49; the best season record of 51-1; and the best career record of 206–26. New York State Wrestling Championships 2-28-20
