On April 15, 2020 the Village will hold it’s very first Zoom meeting. This will be a public hearing for the tax cap and budget for the upcoming year. With so many things up in the air, we are proposing a zero percent increase to the current tax rate of $10.70. We have closely looked into future purchases and projects and have put money aside for when it the financial landscape is clear. We feel we have adequate reserves to allow us to make it through these troubling and uncertain times. Nobody knows what is in store for us when we come out of this pandemic, but rest assured we will be positioned to survive as a community.
