These times are anything but normal. Our community has come together in so many positive ways that everyone should be proud. Even though as I write this it appears that we are “flattening the curve” we are by no means out of the woods yet. I will be extending the state of emergency for the town for another 30 days at the recommendation of the Genesee county office of emergency management. The town office continues to be closed. Most business can be done electronically or left in the drop box. The transfer station is open on Saturday only and dump cards are being punched. We are planning on accepting applications for all recreation positions soon but will wait on the Department of Health to give us guidance on opening parks and the pool. As the weather improves please maintain social distancing when you are outside and avoid gathering in groups. This applies to children and teenagers as well.
