To that end, please remember that our independence does not come at the expense of someone else’s health or safety. As other states are seeing a dramatic rise in Covid 19, New York has seen a steady decline. Please practice social distancing during this holiday weekend and wear a mask whenever you are in public. This is not an infringement on your independence but a protection of others safety. We have speed limits, DWI laws, and a plethora of other laws to protect others-this is no different. With that in mind we are implementing some new practices at the Town Hall. While we are still open we are attempting to reduce foot traffic by keeping the doors locked. Please call the Town Hall and if at all possible we will conduct as much business as possible without person to person contact. To reach the Town hall the contact numbers are 585-768-6910 Town Clerk X 229 Town Court X 234 Code Office X 223 & 225 Supervisor/Secretary X 228 Assessor X 221 If you have to come into the Town hall face masks are required. On a more positive note, the town would like to thank the Rotary club for the grant that paid for new flooring to be installed in the locker rooms at the pool. Hopefully it will get a lot of use next summer. The weather forecast for the next several days looks to be in the 90’s. Please swimonly in pools. Swimming in areas where it is not permitted is not only extremely dangerous, but many times illegal to access as it is on private property. Blue Hole, Buttermilk falls, and the Quarry are examples. Have a great 4th of July and I hope to see you around town.
