Novena to St. Jude Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult cases, of things almost despaired of, Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly -(make your request here) And that I may praise God with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor granted me by God and to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen New Pavilion Transfer Station Hours Starting January 2, 2021 Open Saturdays ONLY 8 AM – 11 AM The station will be staffed by a Town Board Member MASKS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE These changes were made due to budget cuts which resulted in NO PROPERTY TAX INCREASE for 2021. Thank you for understanding the need to change this service. by Greg “Porp” Rogers Thank You to Andrew Lathan and his staff for once again putting up the community Christmas tree. If there was ever a time when we needed a symbol of normalcy and hope, it is this year, so enjoy the tree. Hopefully COVID-19 will be a memory and we will celebrate next year. Please remain diligent about wearing your masks and social distancing, the numbers keep increasing in the county, state, and the nation. Let’s do our part. Beginning in January we will have a different look, with the retirement of Chief Chris Hayward and Detective John Condidorio. And the new Chief of Police, Greg Kellogg. Another very significant loss is Laura Landers who has been our financial consultant for as long as I can remember. She is also retiring. She was very much behind the scene, but a very big part of the team, she will be greatly missed. We have a great amount of gratitude for all her years of service to our community. The DPW will continue to pick up leaves, time permitting. If you have some that need to be picked up call the Village Hall at 768-2527 and we will try to get to you when we get a chance. My Board and I would like to wish all of you a very happy holiday season. “ God bless us everyone” the character Tiny Tim in “ A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens Mayor's Corner Sweet Betty’s Weekly Specials! 15 Main St., LeRoy, N.Y. 14482 Monday -"Must Go Monday" Custard must go on Monday’s as well as left over specials (all still fresh) because we clean the machines and coolers on Tuesday.
