Olmsted Memorial Scholarship The scholarship is being made available by the Olmsted family in memory of Warren and Maria Olmsted, longtime members of the First Presbyterian Church. Maria Olmsted, who passed away in 1992 at the age of 95, had a lifelong love of learning. She always lamented the fact that she was never able to attend college herself, and Mrs. Olmsted made certain that her own three children received a higher education. This scholarship will assist a young resident as she/he pursues a similar dream. Requirements: * Active in and contribute to the community * Are good students * Are graduating seniors at any community high school, home schooled or full time college undergraduate. * P r o o f o f a c c e p t a n c e o r v e r i f i c a t i o n f r om an accredited four year college, 2+2 program or 3+1 p rog r am f o r t he 2021 - 2022 schoo l yea r The Maria and Warren Olmsted Scholarship stresses the idea of excellence and community service.
