The visiting Sox struck first scoring 2 runs in the top of the first after a hard hit single by Evan Rose and a walk to Isaac Stella the Rose/Stella duo would score on some savvy baserunning. The O’s scored 1 run in their half after Brady Mcclurg singled, and then advanced himself with some speedy baserunning. Neither team scored in the second. In the third the Sox added 3 runs with key hits by Evan Rose, Stella, and Pauly Winters. The O’s fought right back in the bottom scoring 3 runs of their own from key hits by McClurg, Austyn Silvernail, Simon Greene, and Sammy Bogue. The Red Sox added 3 in the fifth and 2 in the sixth to hold off a tough Orioles team. Leading the Red Sox were the Evan Rose/Stella duo combining for 6 hits and scoring 7 runs. Pauly Winters and Ethan Rose each added a hit. Leading the O’s were McClurg with 3 hits, Silvernail with 2 hits, and Simon Greene, Sammy Bogue, and Ryan Chrissy each with a hit. Pitching for the Red Sox was the Rose/ Stella combo, combining for 10 strikeouts. Pitching for the O’s were Brady McClurg, Simon Greene, Austyn Silvernail, and Sammy Bogue. Red Sox 4 Yankees 3 The yankees and Red Sox squared off for their second meeting of the year in a tightly contested game. The yankees scored 1 run in the first from hits by Colin Greene and Anthony Warner. The Red Sox tied things up in the bottom half after a couple walks, Pauly Winters would hit an RbI single. The yanks failed to score in the second, and the sox added 1 run. In the 3rd the yanks would score after hits by Greene and Warner again. The sox added another run in their half with key hits from the Winters brothers and Andreas Condidorio. In the top of the 4th Mikey Warner started things off for the yanks with a base hit, and his brother Anthony would drive him in with an RBI single. The sox picked up 1 more run in the 4th from some good base running by Isaac Stella. Both teams failed to score in the 5th. The sox led 4-3 going into the 6th. The sox would walk the first two batters and hit the third with a pitch loading the bases for the always dangerous Colin Greene. Greene ripped a line drive down the 3rd baseline and Ethan Rose would snag it, touch third and tag a runner out to make an unbelievable unassisted triple play to end the game! Leading the yanks were Colin Greene, Anthony Warner, and Mikey Warner each with a double and a single. Leading the sox were Paul Winters going 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles, Isaac Stella with 2 singles, Daniel Winters with a double, andAndreas Condidorio with a single. Anthony Warner and Drew Beachel shared the pitching duties for the yankees. For the sox Evan Rose went 4 1/3 with 13 strikeouts Twins 8 Yankees 6 In a very exciting game, the twins who have been on a 3 game losing streak came prepared for battle to face the Yankees. Pitching for the twins was Jude Christ, who had a solid outing striking out 7 batters and being relieved by Kade Olivani who struck out 2. Colin Greene started for the Yankees striking out 7 throwing fire for 5 innings being relieved by Drew Beachel who struck out 3. The twins would find their bat’s with Jude Christ, Kade Olivani, Colton Halladay, Donovan Gaillard, Ryan O’Geen, Eddie Lathan and Jameson Zitz all getting great hits and driving in runs. An infield led by Peyton Privitera and solid plays in left field by Luke Miller would halt a comeback for the Yankees. Stats for the Yankees. The Yankees put up a huge fight keeping this exciting game very close. With great hits by Colin Greene, Matthew McCulley, Nate Pangrazio, Blake Biracree and Wyatt Whipple and a brick wall infield led by Anthony and Michael Warner and Drew Beachel, the Yankees didn’t make this win easy to get for the twins. Red Sox 7 Tigers 1 The Red Sox and Tigers faced in the Tuesday night game. The visiting sox scored 2 runs in the first with hits by Isaac Stella, and Carter Page. The Tigers scored 1 run in the bottom when the speedy Tommy Clifford reached base on a single, then proceeded to steal 2 bases and score himself on a passed ball. The sox added 1 run in the third, and 4 runs in the sixth. The Tigers were unable to get any runs across the rest of the way due to some solid pitching and some great defensive plays from the Red Sox. Hitting for the Red Sox were Isaac Stella with 3 hits, Evan Rose, Carter Page, and Daniel Winters each with 2 hits a piece, andAndreas Condidorio with a hit. Hitting for the Tigers were Tommy Clifford, Benito Bautista, and Ryker Vangalio each with a hit. Isaac Stella, and Evan Rose shared the pitching responsibilities for the sox allowing only 3 hits and striking out 9. Jeremiah Sheehan, Deacon Queal, and LeRoy Little League Reece Pryzbl shared the mound for the Tigers.
