In June, Madison Walden and Piper Tresco-Decker started a lemonade stand and raised over $100! They decided to donate that money to the school's Beginner Band program to help students in need to play an instrument in the upcoming school year. The School Board acknowledged the girls' kindness and maturity of their actions and their donation was approved on July 27th. Thanks, girls, for being so thoughtful of your fellow classmates!
