If you have never been to this event. It is very humbling to hear all that some have given back to our community and in many cases, you never knew it. So if you have never been, please consider going. Congratulation to Ed and all past LeRoyan of the year. It is our biggest honor. Wolcott Street is finished and the board couldn’t be more pleased with the result, it looks great. We believe the project will come in under budget, I will let you know to what extent in the future. Thank You to Villager and Clark, Patterson, Lee. We will hold our next meeting at the Memorial Auditorium on Oct 20th at 7:00 pm to handle the expected larger crowd. It has always been hard to mention the passing of people from the community. Lat week we lost Father Michael Rock and Tom Spadaro. Tom was very instrumental in bringing back the community pool and continuously supporting it, as well as serving on the zoning board of appeals. Along with this, many communities over the years had huge problems with vacant and distressed homes. We in LeRoy did not have that problem to the degree of others, because of Tom taking these and transforming them back into nice usable homes. Both will be sadly missed. “You must find the courage to leave the table , if respect is no longer served.” Tene Edwards Mayor's Corner
