LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - OCTOBER 31, 2021 EXPLANATION FOR WRITE-IN VOTE ON THE BALLOT FOR TOWN JUSTICE IN LEROY No one has explained why the only candidate for Town Justice on the ballot is the Democrat candidate, other than the write-in vote. There is a deadline for filling party positions on the ballot. The Republican party had a designated candidate, who withdrew for personal reasons too late to fill that position with another person, leaving no choice on the ballot other than the write-in vote. Therefore, TOM FEELEY, who is qualified for that position, took that option. That is the only way the people of LeRoy get a chance to vote for any candidate other than the Democrat candidate. Be sure to vote Shelley Stein for Genesee County Legislature and Ron Pangrazio and David Paddock for Town Council . Write in Tom Feeley on the Write-in line under Town Justice .
