His victory is the will of the people of LeRoy. Tom will continue to have my support to do what is in the best interest of this strong, proud community. He has shown before his willingness to put himself forward as someone ready to serve the people and I have no doubt he will do the same as your town justice. If I have learned anything through this campaign it’s that elections are not about the candidates, they are about the people who voted. You are what democracy in action looks like. I am grateful to the many people who worked all through this election to remind me and countless others of that fact. Thank you to each and every one of you who made your voice heard by showing up and voting. I am beyond grateful to my friends, committee members, and loyal supporters, who so generously contributed their time and effort to my campaign. You are the best and appreciated more than words can ever say. I am so blessed with the special, amazing people in my life I call family. You encouraged me to keep going, keep trying every single day. You believed in me even when I did not believe in myself. You always listen to me without judgment, love me unconditionally, and let me know that no matter how deep the waters may get at times, you will still be there. Thank you poll workers, for showing up even during a pandemic to make sure people could vote, regardless of any potential health risk to yourself. Thank you postal workers for working long, backbreaking shifts to make sure every ballot was delivered in time. Democracy is worth every minute of effort we put into it.
