LeRoy Pennysaver & News

LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - DECEMBER 19, 2021 by Lynne Belluscio One of the historic trees on exhibit at LeRoy House, is a new tradition. Actually, we got the idea from the community tree on the Wiss corner. When that tree was put up in 2013, businesses and organizations were asked to submit an ornament. Through the years, some of the ornaments have blown off or have disappeared. So, we thought we’d add a “LeRoy Tree” to the exhibit at LeRoy House, and Kate Flint volunteered to put it together. This year, there have been many unique ornaments put on the tree, and they all reflect this community, past and present. Plans are ready being made to have a bigger tree next year, so more groups and businesses can have an ornament. We want to thank everyone who participated this year. The tree will remain on exhibit through First Night, and anyone can stop by to see it. Here are just some of the creative ornaments that have been donated. A New Christmas Tradition
