There are still opportunities to enroll in spring classes at Genesee Community College! The late-start, 12-week session begins Monday, February 7, 2022 and courses are offered at GCC's Batavia campus location, as well as online. One highlighted course is Western Art History 1, taught online by instructor Maureen (Moi) Dugan asynchronously (not at scheduled times). The class will survey history of western art from prehistory to CE 1500. It introduces the distinctive features of the art produced by western civilization and relates its development to that of other regions. The Spring 12-week session boasts more than 25 courses in a variety of dynamic subjects from Biology to Business, History to Human Relations, Music to Micro-economics or Psychology to Sociology. Additionally, GCC also offers the final segment of late start seven-week courses beginning on Monday, March 21, 2022. For all the class options at GCC visit www.genesee. edu/courses/schedule. "Late start sessions are another example of GCC's mission of making college readily accessible to as wide a body of students as possible," Dr. Shelitha Williams, GCC's vice president for Student and Enrollment Services said. "We understand that adult students have many priorities and one start date doesn't always fit everyone's schedule. A shorter term that starts in mid-February or even mid-March is truly a blessing." To apply online for classes at any Genesee Community College campus location, new students should go to http:// www.genesee.edu/Apply or call the Admissions office at 585-345-6800.
