Very often people say it is a thankless job, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The people from the community have been extremely supportive and the job has been very rewarding. One such reward came from the recently departed Nancy Baker. Nancy was a person always giving to this community and served in so many ways, and when she reached out in a letter to thank me, it was truly one of my proudest moments. Having graduated with her son Tom, and playing football with Bill as well as knowing her other children her letter hit my heart and truly made my day.
