She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, and a grandson. Nancy is leaving behind her husband of 65 years, Bruce, their 6 children and their spouses, 20 grandchildren and their spouses, and 17 great grandchildren. The Bakers moved to LeRoy NY in 1963 where, with Nancy’s help and guidance, Bruce opened his Family Practice. Over the next fifty plus years Nancy embedded herself into the fabric of LeRoy. Her many activities included School Board president: Woodward Memorial Library Board, numerous Village, Town, and County committees, an extensive history of volunteerism, and as an involved member of St Mark’s Church. As important as LeRoy was to Nancy, her biggest commitment was to her family and friends. In 2019 they moved to St John’s Brickstone Active Senior Community in Brighton, NY, bringing part of LeRoy with them and leaving part of themselves in LeRoy. Family and friends may call on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 3 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy. Her Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 12:00 PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1 E. Main St., LeRoy.
