COVID-19 has dealt all theatre communities a terrible blow. The resilience and commitment to produce exceptional theatre against many odds lead to the movement by many companies to produce various forms of online theatrical work. It has been TANYS' extreme pleasure to adjudicate many of these works. The unfortunate part of this equation is that these works never had the opportunity to be viewed by the TANYS audience at our Annual Festival. The TANYS Board of Directors has made the decision to recognize these companies with a variety of awards covering direction, acting and the multiple technical elements. This one- time recognition, is our effort to both thank and give the involved companies the kudos and limelight they deserve. Here you will find the various companies and their respective awards. These awards will be given at the TANYS Festival on November 20, 2021 in a special awards ceremony.
