If you sign up you are entered into a drawing for some FABULOUS prizes which are selected and announced at the annual meeting. 50-50 Raffle You will have an opportunity to purchase tickets for at least one 50-50 raffle during the day. Any funds raised from this raffle will supplement a company moving onto the ESTA Festival, if one takes place in 2022. Concessions RCT will be selling items such as coffee, tea, soda, candy and other things. If you have purchased an RCT coffee mug at prior ESTAs or TANYS Festival then be sure to bring it--- your hot beverages will be FREE and we all know how cold the auditorium got two years ago! RCT coffee mugs are on sale for $5 at the event. TANYS Merchandise Sale Besides the T-Shirt sale mentioned in this Callboard, TANYS will be selling legacy T-Shirts from prior Festivals at “fire sale” prices. There are other TANYS items such as Christmas balls, light pens and measuring tapes priced to sell. Stop by and peruse. Christmas is right around the corner! There will be a discount coupon in your Festival goodie bag. Entertainment Two years ago, at Festival 2019, there was an opening ceremony theme-based skit with two characters bantering back and forth. One is expected again this year. Jewelry/Better Than Bernie Mittens Sale For sale to benefit the TANYS Festival will be costume jewelry, which has been accumulated from members over the years. Also for sale will be homemade Better than Bernie Mittens (pictured below). The name alludes to the mittens Bernie Sanders wore during the Presidential Inauguration. They are homemade by a TANYS member from recycled sweaters. I can personally attest to their warmness since I just got a pair! Open up your wallets for these items. Outside of the normal theatrical activities, Festival 2021 will feature several other things. Questions on any of this can be directed to Festival Chair John Parker. To take part in any of these activities, come to the theater at least a half hour prior to the start of a session or during any schedule breaks.
