The defense was on the field first and Ryker Vangalio, Lorilye Beardsley and Eli Fortuna showed great field vision grabbing flags and forcing the fourth down. Gvb then had a long sideline fun for the touchdown. Andrew Sibley shined again while commanding the offense. On the second play of the game a great toss to Ryker Vangalio who ran around a great block by Noah Neth gave the Knights their first touchdown. After a chasedown flag by Gunner Humphrey Gvb was able to score again. LeRoy’s offense rushed on the field and Ben Biracree and Blake Biracree made a “wall of blocks” so that Lorilye Beardsley could have a long first down run. After a few short gains Gunner Humphrey has a zigzag run for another Knights touchdown!! The defense kept the high energy rolling, with flags grabbed by Weston Humphrey, Cameron Montesano and Blake Biracree. The first and only run of the drive went to Eli Fortuna who flew down the whole field for a touchdown!!! With little time left in the half Weston Humphrey and Ben Biracree both stooped runs before the buzzer. The Red Team started with the ball in the second half. Andrew Sibley has a great run putting the knights half way down field.Areverse toCameron Montesano had him scrambling past multiple defenders and into the end zone for another touchdown!! Lockdown defense by Ryker Vangalio, Gunner Humphrey, Blake Biracree and Weston Humphrey lead to a four and out. Like a bull in a china shop Maddox Finnin barreled down the field on a great center sneak for a touchdown!!!!! On defense Eli Fortuna and Cameron Montesano kept the left side strong both stopping runs to their side. Gvb tried to go to the right and were met by Weston Humphrey and Lorilye Beardsley and Leroy’s offense took the field. Weston Humphrey ran with his signature loop around style gaining massive yards for a first down. Blake Biracree followed it up with a sweep run all the way to the one yard line. Blake then danced around the defense and found the endzone for a knights touchdown! Ryker Vangalio and Ben Biracree pulled the final flags of the game as the horn blew. Connect withYourCustomers!
