LE ROY PENNYSAVER & NEWS - OCTOBER 28, 2018 Turkey Dinner American Legion Auxiliary LeRoy November 10, 2018 Dinner 4:30 - 7:00 pm Curbside Drive-Thru Take Outs Available from 4:30 - 6:30 pm Adults $10.00 Children (10 Years & Under) $5.00 Rotary Donates SmartMusic to Students This fall, the LeRoy Rotary graciously donated SmartMusic subscriptions to all instrumental music students in grades 4-8 for the 2018-2019 school year as part of R.A.M.P. (Rotary Assistance Music Program.) SmartMusic provides students the ability to practice at home with immediate feedback, using any type of a smart device and the program can be accessed from any location. This educational platform includes individual lessons and assignments for each child, online tools including a metronome, a tuner, fingering charts for every instrument, and a large library of music from which students may choose and try new pieces. The Le Roy Central Music Department truly appreciates this donation-- we’re ready to get practicing! LeRoy Moose WOTM Upcoming Events Saturday, October 27 Join us for a Halloween party. Prizes for best costumes and a Pumpkin carving competition. Sunday, November 4 Ham and Turkey raffle from 1-4 pm (Open to the public) Saturday, November 17 Veterans Honor Night sponsored by the LOOM. Free prime rib dinner for any Veteran and a guest. Saturday, December 1 Winterfest Community event in the Village. The LeRoy WOTM will have vendors and a craft show along with a visit from Santa @ 1pm. Refreshments will also be available from 10am – 4pm at the LeRoy Moose. Tables are still available to rent for vendors and crafters. The LeRoy Women of the Moose are available to cater your events at the LeRoy Moose. (Showers, Birthday parties, Weddings, Class reunions, etc.) Call 729-5309 for info. Every 1st and 3rd Thursday, the WOTM will have a dinner available from 5-8pm. Fish Frys are every Friday from 5-8pm A special Thank You to all the local restaurants for your Gift Certificate donations for our Dine in LeRoy raffle at our Pig Roast held at the LeRoy Moose to benefit the YWCA of Genesee County Also, Thank You, for your donations to our annual Harvest Dinner to benefit the DAV Van fundraiser.
