Our choice of LeRoy as a new home was accidental, driven by a search for a workable home over several counties. We found a house here that met our needs and budget and moved in, hoping to eventually introduce ourselves to our neighbors and gradually adapt to living in this strange place. Things didn't work out the way we expected. The neighbors came to us and introduced themselves over the first few days and asked if they could be of help. Everyone we met in your local businesses were friendly and helpful, your village officials answered our questions and provided helpful advice. We found that within a month, LeRoy had gone from being a strange place to becoming “home” in a way our last house of 38 years never was.
