AneighteenyearoldLeRoy resident, seventeenyear
oldLeRoy resident and a seventeen year oldStafford resident were
arrested by the LeRoy Police Department on April 14, 2015, and
chargedwithone count eachof Endangering theWelfare of aChild
Under theAge of Seventeen, a classAMisdemeanor andUnlawful
PossessionofMarihuana, aViolation.
The LeRoy Police Department responded to an apartment house
after receivingacomplaint of the smell ofmarihuana smokecoming
from an apartment. After a brief investigation the abovementioned
teenagerswere allegedly found inpossessionofmarihuana andhad
smokedmarihuanawhile in the residencewith two juveniles under
the age of seventeen.
Both the seventeen year olds were issued appearance tickets and
are toappear in theLeRoyTownCourtonMay21,2015 toanswer to
thecharges. The18yearoldwasarraigned in frontof theHonorable
Judge Sehm and turned over to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of
$500 bail, they are to return to the LeRoyTownCourt onApril 16,
2015 to answer to the charges.

The Village of LeRoy Police Department arrested a
26-year-oldBataviaman forDrivingWhile Intoxicated.
KevinM. Horn, Jr. ofBataviawas stopped for allegedly crossing
thecenter line.Afterabriefpolice investigation,Hornwasdetermined
tobe drivingwhile intoxicated.Hornwas issued tickets forDriving
to the left of PavementMarkings: No Passing Zone, Drivingwhile
intoxicated, and aggravated driving while intoxicated for having a
BAC in excess of .18%. Hornwas releasedonAppearanceTickets,
and scheduled to appear in LeRoy Town Court on 05/18/2015 to
answer the charges.

The Village of LeRoy Police Department arrested a
26-year-oldLeRoyman forCriminalTrespass in theSecondDegree,
DisorderlyConduct, andHarassment in theSecondDegree.
EricR. SwedeofLeRoywas arrested forCriminalTrespass in the
SecondDegreeafterallegedlyenteringanotherapartmentunlawfully.
Swedewas also chargedwithHarassment in theSecondDegree for
allegedly causing an annoyance aswell as chargedwithDisorderly
Conduct for allegedlymaking unreasonable noise in the apartment
building. After abrief police investigation, Swedewas arrestedand
arraigned in front of the Hon. Justice Sehm and committed to the
GeneseeCounty Jail in lieuof $1000cashor $2000 insurancebond.
Swede isscheduled to reappear inLeRoyTownCourton05/21/2015
to answer the charges.

1) 55 yr. old
Michael (Mickey) Robbins, cur-
rently residing in the Genesee
County Jail, was arrested by the
LeRoy Police Department on
04/16/2015andchargedwithone
count of Petit Larceny (A-Mis-
demeanor). It is alleged that on
03/03/2015,whileonLakeStreet
in LeRoy, Robbins stole $420
from an acquaintance. Robbins
wasarraignedbefore theHon.D.
Sehm of the LeRoy Town Court
and returned back to the jail in
lieu of $1,000 bail.
2) 30 yr. old Kirk Thomas,
currently residing in theGenesee
County Jail, was arrested by the
LeRoy Police Department on
04/16/2015andchargedwithone
count of Petit Larceny (A-Mis-
demeanor). It is alleged that
on 09/09/2014, while inside a
business onWest Main Street in
LeRoy,Thomasshoplifted item(s)
from the business. Thomas was
arraigned before the Hon. D.
Sehm of the LeRoy Town Court
and returned back to the jail in
lieu of $1,000 bail.
