“Blustery” would be an apt
descriptionoutdoorsasPresident
Randy rang the Rotary bell to
call our weekly meeting to or-
der. Our guest todaywas Christi
Lotempio. Randy recognized
Gary Churchill, just in case he
was there.

make-up meeting. Tim Moag
has been pretty busy lately and
paid forhismissedmeetings.The
followingallhadgreatmake-ups.
Bob Bennett, Lynn Freeman,
Christine Gephardt, and Scott
McCumiskey. This helps to
reinforce that our attendance
requirements aren’t nearly as
strict as they once were. Jer-
ry McCullough had an on-line
make-up, the content of which
drewboos from fellowmembers
and afine from thePresident.
Thefining sessiongot off to an
interesting start with Christine
Gephardt explaining the psy-
chological benefits of chickens.
Bob Carlsen’s 2-cent question
cost him as did Erik Fix being
unclear about howmany alpha-
bets comprise Japanese writings

to go back to FloridawhileAnil
Sawhney found what money
is made of. Sam Vagg must’ve
thought Randywas just bugging
her and Scott McCumiskey was
absolutely batty about his fine.
Mary Young had some help

Bob Bennett presided over our
Club Assembly where we re-
viewed thevast amountsof good
Rotary does each and every year
in our community. We invest a
lot of timeandenergy inourAp-
pliance Raffle, Graze-to-Raise,
Pancake Breakfasts, Spaghetti
Dinners, Rent-A-Rotarian and
SuperBowl TVRaffle.
Wemaintain a strong presence
at theOatkaFestival through the
Hot Dog Stand and Beat-the-
Bucket and by sponsoring the
Petting Zoo. All these efforts
go right back to our community
through donations tomanywor-
