mas! The children used their scissor skills, practiced lacing and

glueing their stockings for our class chimney. They are all getting

pretty excited for St. Nick!

Message from the

Superintendent

Season’s Greetings to All!

December has been a

very busy month at Le Roy Cen-

tral School District. It was won-

derful to see so many of you at

the various musical, sporting, and

learning events at our schools.

Your presence at these is so much

appreciated by both staff and

students. Thank you for your at-

tendance and support! We would

also like to thank all of you who

took a few minutes to fill out our

budget development survey. This

helps us with important decisions

as we put together the 2017-18

school budget plan. If you haven’t

had a chance to do so, the survey

is still available on the school

website at

www.leroycsd.org, un

-

til December 30th.

Along with continued

work on the R.I.T.E. project, the

Le Roy Board of Education has

begun the search for the new

Superintendent of Schools. It is

their hope to have a new leader

in place by March 1st. Over the

course of the next few months

we will be working hard to

ensure smooth transition to this

new leadership.

I would also like to

recognize Mrs. Lori Prinz, our

school treasurer, for the past 19

years. Lori leaves us to begin her

career on January 3rd as the new

school business administrator for

the Byron-Bergen Central School

District. Mrs. Prinz will truly be

missed, but we know that she will

be a great asset to the Bryon-Ber-

gen District. Replacing Mrs.

Prinz, will be Ms. Teresa McMul-

len. Ms. Mc Mullen has been our

district payroll clerk for the past 7

years and we are truly excited to

have her transition into this new

role for the district.

As we ring in the New

Year, I want to thank each and

every one of you for your ongo-

ing support of the Le Roy Central

School District. This is a wonder-

ful school district and community

that always works together for the

betterment of all. I am grateful to

be part of such a great team.

Best Wishes for a Happy Holiday

and a Wonderful 2017!
