The 2015-2016 school year is
fast approaching. I hope that you
and your family enjoyed a great
summer.
As always, summer is a busy
time at the District. Facilities,
Food Service, Transportation,
Business, Instruction, Technolo-
gy, Buildings and Grounds, and
District Office staff have been
working diligently to prepare to
welcome our students back to
school.Thanks toall foryourhard
work and dedication!
The Le Roy family welcomes
severalnewstaffmembers for the
start of the year. At theWolcott
Street School we are excited to
welcome Molly Dambra, grade
3; Jessica Pcionek, grade 4; and
Jamie Turman, grade 2. At the
Jr./Sr. High School joining us
areJe-LanBaird,Business;Katie
Beaumont, Algebra/Pre-Calcu-
lus; JoshGreen, Global History;
Sara Horgan, Health; and Matt
Keehammer, Technology. Jen-
nifer Bertrand will be moving
from elementary teacher to In-
structional Technology coach,
workingK-12.
Roger Caldwell is joining us
as the newDirector of Building
and Grounds. We would like to
publicly thank Mr. Scott Boyd
for his service for the last year as
the interim director of Buildings
andGrounds.HappyRetirement,
Scott! We also welcome Robin
Horn as a new cleaner.
Our commitments of preparing
all students to be college and
career ready, having a united
school culture, providing lead-
ership opportunities for all, and
ensuring a safe and fiscally re-
sponsible environment continue
to be the foundation of all our
work. This year our goals will
include: improving instructional
practicesandprograms, readying
our facilities for themuchneeded
facelift with the R.I.T.E. capital
improvement project and begin-
ning our three year plan to be a
one to one device environment!
